I am a South African born Naarm artist working with many mediums including electronic presentations, soft sculpture, photography and painting. The themes of change and the prevention of destruction are for me paramount and inspired by Walter Benjamin’s call for humanity to put on the emergency brakes, and his plea for us to see the ghostly transitoriness of history and hold the present dear,

I grew up in the heady days of the massive challenge to apartheid.in South Africa. which opened the door to change which as shut by a system of capitalism continuing.

I love to use watercolour, gauche and acrylic on plywood for environmental paintings. Those media bring out the necessary plea for our environment, and for change,
